I dont normally take photo's of roads, but we walked up this one, and it was relentless... It seemed to go on for ages...
Dave ended up having to crawl up it, Jack (as usual) had no problems!!!
We decided to go over a stile we came across while walking up the road, more vertical walking...
When we got to the top of the hill above, the wind was fair blowing, enough to bend this tree...
And blow my hair off!!!!
We got down into Cave Dale, and carried on walking through... this is heading towards Windy Knoll with a view over to Mam Tor... As usual the weather took decided to change...
When we got to the foot of the Mam Tor steps, we even came across snow...
I think the wind got the better of Dave here...
As we ascended Mam Tor, we stopped to look down into the valley... couldn't see much...
It was that windy on Mam Tor that Dave popped Jack onto his lead to stop him blowing away... The Trig Point is way behind Dave.. . It was that windy up there that we could't make it to the top...
